Saving ₹1,04,390.39 per month in organic traffic

Goosebumps' online store saw a jump of 3137% clicks from Google Search within three months.

Objective

Goosebumps is an exclusive range of yummilicious classic and fusion pickles, indulgent fruit chocolate, lip-smackingly healthy masala fruits and must-try fusion snacks. It has also been named among the list of 100 most powerful D2C brands.

Goosebumps was doing a major website overhaul where it wanted to shift from one website domain to another. This called for creating an SEO strategy where we not only wanted to increase the website traffic but also ensure that the traffic is not lost during the shift.

Challenges

The website had categories related to pickles, masala fruits, fruit chocolates, fusion snacks, and spices. Apart from this, the website also had a gifting section which also was an area of opportunity.

The biggest challenge in the planning was to account for the upcoming festive season of October and November–and the project kickoff was in the third week of August.

Activation and Strategy

So, first things first–we ran a technical audit for Goosebumps’ new website. The idea was to ensure that there was no issue when we start indexing the new web pages. We shared our insights with the dev team to fix the website technical issues before we start making any content changes on the website.
When the keyword research was complete, we also shared the H1 tags suggestions for the home page and collection pages. We, then, updated the meta title, description, and image alt text to include our target keywords.
This was followed up with rewriting the content for each and every collection page to target the focus keywords.
