COOKIE POLICY

A deliberately light cookie footprint.

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies that may be involved when you visit the XOR Labs website.

Last updated: 5 October 2026

1. Our current approach

We use browser local storage to retain the campaign parameters in links that bring you to this website. When you submit an enquiry, we send the saved campaign details with your form to help understand where enquiries came from. We do not use this storage for cross-site advertising profiles.

Google Tag Manager also loads measurement and marketing tags, including the Meta Pixel. These tags may set third-party or first-party marketing identifiers. The Meta identifiers _fbp and _fbc, when present, can be included in server-side CC - Contact Us, SQL and SEO Lead conversion events to match saved enquiries with advertising activity. Matching event identifiers link browser and server copies so each event is counted once.

The hosting and security infrastructure used to deliver the website may process server logs or use strictly necessary technical identifiers for functions such as routing, reliability, fraud prevention and security. These technologies are not used by XOR Labs to build advertising profiles.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on a device when a website is visited. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, SDKs and server-side identifiers. They can support essential operation, preferences, measurement or advertising depending on how they are configured.

3. Cookie categories

CategoryCurrent usePurpose
Strictly necessaryMay be used by infrastructureSecurity, routing, load balancing and reliable delivery.
Campaign attributionLocal storage: xor_utm_paramsStore UTM source, medium, campaign, content, term and ID from your last tagged visit and include them with an enquiry.
Marketing measurementTags loaded through Google Tag Manager, including Meta PixelMeasure advertising activity and qualifying enquiries; match conversions using available _fbp and _fbc identifiers.

4. If our use changes

If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or preference technologies, we will update this policy and implement an appropriate consent mechanism before using those technologies where consent is required. Any consent request will identify the purpose of the processing and allow a clear choice.

5. Managing browser settings

Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect website reliability. Browser controls vary, so consult the help pages for your browser or device.

Campaign parameters remain in local storage until a new tagged visit replaces them or you clear this website’s stored site data in your browser. If local storage is blocked, the contact form still works and can include campaign parameters present in the current page URL.

6. Personal data and questions

Information that identifies or can relate to an individual is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. For questions about this policy, email marketing@xorlabs.in.
